Delete your Comfort Option account

You can ask us to delete your Comfort Option account and the data linked to it at any time: in the app, or by email if you no longer have the app.

Delete your account in the app

Open the Comfort Option app and sign in.
Open the “Profile” tab and choose “Privacy & Data”.
Under “Danger Zone”, tap “Delete Account”.
Confirm by tapping “Delete Account” again.

The account is deactivated at once and can no longer sign in. This cannot be undone.

Request deletion by email

If you can't use the app, write to info@comfort-option.com and ask us to delete your account. Send the request from the email address your account is registered with, so that we know the request is yours. We reply to that address and delete the account within 30 days of your request.

What is deleted

Personal data is erased within 30 days. When you delete the account in the app, the data the app keeps on your phone is removed at once.

Your account and profile information: first name, last name, email address, phone number
All connected devices and access permissions
Device configurations and settings
Call history and usage data
App preferences and customizations

What is kept

Payment records are kept for as long as financial-records law requires.
Usage logs are kept for up to 12 months and security logs for up to 24 months, as our privacy policy sets out.
